Noirwich Crime Writing Festival

NCW and UEA delivered Noirwich together in partnership between 2015 and 2021. UEA have taken the lead on festival programme and production from 2022 onwards (though NCW remain firm fans!).

This year’s festival will take place from 8th-10th September. Please direct any live enquiries to the UEA team at: and visit the Noirwich website to stay up to date:

The Noirwich Crime Writing Festival is the region’s largest annual celebration of crime writing and one of the fastest growing literary festivals in the UK.

Each year, the world’s biggest crime writers – and their fans – converge on the medieval streets of Norwich UNESCO City of Literature for a four-day spectacular of readings, Q&A panels, book signings and creative writing workshops.
