Meet the World is the home of NCW’s work on the international stage. Rooted in Norwich UNESCO City of Literature, but with a global reach, we are proud to collaborate with writers, translators, and organisations from many languages and cultures.
Explore a diverse range of events, residencies, opportunities, and new writing – from Norwich to the world, and back again.

The Global Page: online events
This online programme celebrates the art of writing in all its forms, connecting brilliant minds across styles, languages, and cultures. Together, we explore and challenge the ideas and approaches shaping contemporary literature.
Norwich City of Literature residencies
Our residency programme encompasses in-person and virtual residencies for writers and translators. We work with a wide range of partners and funders to support NCW residencies and exchanges, and we also publicise opportunities from sister UNESCO Cities of Literature around the world.
