NCW is a dynamic literature house for contemporary writing at the heart of Norwich, UNESCO City of Literature. We’re a charity committed to exploring the artistic, social and place-making powers of creative writing and literary translation.

Join our Board of Trustees

National Centre for Writing seeks skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join our Board to guide and support the organisation through its next exciting phase of development.

Prospective trustees will have an active interest in literature, and ideally (but not essentially) experience of the cultural sector, a broad interest in writing and literature, and a familiarity with the arts ecology in the UK. They may also be writers with a demonstrable commitment to supporting emerging writers and/or socially engaged practice.

Please note: we are specifically seeking new trustees who can complement our existing Board in the areas of Finance/Accountancy, and venue/building management.
