City of Literature is a Norfolk & Norwich Festival and National Centre for Writing presentation, programmed by the National Centre for Writing.

   

Pam Smy is an illustrator who specialises in older fiction. She has illustrated for authors such as John Agard, Penelope Lively, Siobhan Dowd, Linda Newbery and Lucy Strange. Her first novel, Thornhill, was shortlisted for the 2017 CILIP Greenaway Prize. Pam is also a Senior Lecturer Practitioner on the MA Children’s Book Illustration course at Cambridge School of Art. She lives in Suffolk and loves early morning walks with her dog, reading, and listening to stories on the radio.
