Young Norfolk Writing Competition

This competition is run annually in the spring for young people aged 11-18.

The closing date for the 2018 competition was Monday 4 June. We regret that we cannot accept applications after this date.

The best entries will win an exclusive private workshop session with a guest tutor, followed by an awards ceremony in Norwich on Friday 13 July.

Six winners were chosen from over 150 entries for this year’s competition; you can read their winning entries here.

We are also excited to announce the first Young Norfolk Laureate, Joe Webb. He was chosen for his creative potential and will undertake an ambassadorial role for young writers in Norwich and across the region.
