Writing for Wellbeing with Shona Lowes (four-week course)
Curious about how writing can support your physical and mental wellbeing? Following her sold-out workshop last year, writer and clinical psychologist Shona Lowes returns with a four-week course (every Tuesday from 3 March) which will provide you with the tools to help you examine your life and experiences through creative writing.
Each week Shona will guide you through reflective writing techniques designed to support your self-exploration and personal development, including:
- Free and prompted writing
- Journaling methods
- Using lists and letters
- Visualisation techniques
There will be opportunities (but no obligation) to share and discuss your experiences of the writing techniques.
‘I want to thank Shona for what I thought was an excellent workshop. I felt the workshop was pitched at the right level, and pace, to begin exploring what reflective writing for wellbeing is all about’ – workshop participant, 2019
One bursary place is available for this workshop. Click here to apply >>
