Hugh Aldersey-Williams is a science writer and occasional exhibition curator. His books include the bestseller Periodic Tales, Tide: The Science and Lore of the Greatest Force on Earth, and The Adventures of Sir Thomas Browne in the 21st Century. He is currently working on a book about the mathematician and physicist Christiaan Huygens and the science of the Dutch Golden Age.
Hugh has curated exhibitions at Compton Verney, the Wellcome Collection and the Victoria & Albert Museum. He has a degree in natural sciences from Cambridge University. He lives with his wife and son in Norfolk. Website
