Join us for a celebration of regional writing as we announce the winners of the East Anglian Book Awards 2019 at the Jarrold’s Literary Lunch.
Hear from authors Edward Parnell, Rachel Hore and Sarah Passingham as they talk about their experiences as East Anglian authors and also present the prizes to the Winners of the East Anglian Book Awards 2019.
These awards showcase the strength of publishing, writing and reading across the whole of the East of England. Every year we are delighted by the talent our region cultivates and inspires.
Edward Parnell is the recipient of an Escalator Award from the National Centre for Writing and a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship. His novel The Listeners was the winner of the Rethink New Novels Prize.
Rachel Hore teaches creative writing and publishing at The University of East Anglia. She is the author of eight novels, several of which have been Sunday Times Top Ten bestsellers.
Sarah Passingham writes non-fiction, short fiction, poetry, libretti, performance work and life-writing. She is the short story columnist for Brittle Star Magazine, and her recent collection of short stories, ‘Hoad and Other Stories’ was published by Stonewood Press in Autumn of 2014.
