Digital Insights with Leena Norms

Online video creator, podcaster, producer and storyteller Leena Norms knows a thing or two about creating a compelling and cohesive online presence. In this session, Leena will present her top tips for using digital platforms – including Twitter, YouTube and more – to showcase your writing, build a community of fellow writers, and to connect with readers and publishing industry professionals. Following Leena’s presentation, an extended Q&A session will give you the chance to ask your burning questions about making digital work for you.

About Leena

Leena Norms is an online video creator, podcaster, producer and storyteller. She has amassed over 4 million views on her YouTube channel and launched a chart-topping podcast, I’m Not Being Funny But-. She generally covers book reviews, feminism, poetry, politics and social change.

Leena was awarded the Bookseller Rising Star Award and the London Book Fair Trailblazer Award, and was named a YouTube Creators for Change and Vlogger in Residence at Greenbelt Festival. She has worked with the European Commission, the U.S. Embassy London, the Man Booker Prize, Vice and BBC 3. Her work has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Refinery 29, Grazia Ten Eighty Magazine and many more.

She has worked in the publishing industry for seven years and has worked at Icon Books, Pan Macmillan, Telegraph Books and is currently at Vintage, Penguin Random House. Website
