Join Okechukwu Nzelu, award-winning author of The Private Joys of Nnenna Maloney and Here Again Now, in this friendly workshop which will help you to craft compelling character relationships in your fiction writing.

Strongly developed individual characters are important for your story, but it’s the relationships between characters that can bring your themes to life, explore different perspectives, and build an emotional connection with your reader.

Through a mixture of discussion and in-class writing exercises, Okechukwu will guide you through the key techniques needed to develop compelling interactions between your characters. The workshop will:

  • Give you insights and exercises for creating characters
  • Help you think about exciting ways for characters to interact
  • Help you think about how character leads to plot

This workshop will take place online via Zoom. You will need access to the internet via a computer or similar device. Details of how to join the event will be sent a few days before.
