Prepare to take notes as Jen shares her knowledge of the publishing industry and from her own creative practice on how to:

- Write across different genres, spanning non-fiction, short stories, poetry and picture books
- Utilise social media and digital platforms – from YouTube to podcasts
- Promote your work to publishers, agents and booksellers
- Write book reviews online, in print, and on for radio
There will also be an opportunity for you to pose your questions to Jen and share your own experiences with the rest of the group.
This workshop is open to writers of all genres and levels aged 18 and over. It will take place online via Zoom, with full instructions sent to you in advance.

Jen Campbell is a bestselling author and award-winning poet. She has written ten books for adults and children spanning non-fiction, short stories, poetry and picture books. Her short story collection The Beginning of the World in the Middle of the Night is published by Two Roads, and her children’s picture book series, Franklin and Luna, is published by Thames & Hudson, illustrated by Katie Harnett. She is also the Sunday Times bestselling author of the Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops series, and The Bookshop Book. Her poetry collection The Girl Aquarium won an Eric Gregory Award, and the Jane Martin Poetry Prize. She guest lectures on the history of fairy tales and the representation of disfigurement, talks about books on BBC Radio and runs a book club for TOAST.
