Help us create more opportunities to inspire, create insights and expand our work with underrepresented writers, supporting and developing local talent whether through our work with children, young people, and schools or across our local communities.
See the difference we are making through our local work with children, young people and families, through connecting to schools and teachers across Norfolk.
We support new and under-represented writers and commission artists and writers to explore some of our most vital topics, questions and insights.
We also help people in their own writing, careers and creativity on an international level as part of the UNESCO City of Literature network as well as locally as the Norwich City of Literature office.
None of this work would be possible without philanthropic support. Your donations make a real and profound difference.
Help us connect people and communities to share their stories, explore our similarities and differences and develop writers and thinkers of the future.
We have a broad range of programmes to help everyone, from new and under-represented writers to young people and Dragon Hall itself – and your support can help one or all of them.
Escalator
Escalator is our annual talent development scheme open to unpublished early career fiction writers living in the Eastern Region.
Imagining Futures
We work with hundreds of young people every year to support a life-long love of writing, ideas and books.
Dragon Hall
We are very proud to be the custodians of our magnificent medieval home in Norwich and we work closely with heritage volunteers and conservationists to ensure it and its stories survive.
Stories From the Quarter
Working with primary schools and Norwich’s Bengali communities, Stories From the Quarter includes a series of creative workshops, heritage site visits to Dragon Hall and a collection of Bengali oral histories.
Philanthropy runs through all our programmes, projects and partnerships it links everything we do and the impact we can have.
You can donate at any time — online, by phone or by post.
You can also support these programmes by becoming a member of one of our groups.
