Creative Arts East
For over 30 years, Creative Arts East (CAE) has used creativity to enrich the lives of people in rural and underserved communities across Norfolk, and beyond.
CAE helps make live performances and cinema more accessible by empowering local people to shape their own cultural offer. Alongside this, they deliver tailored creative projects that respond to the unique needs of each community we serve.
Every year, CAE supports over 600 arts and cultural events across more than 70 communities, creating over 30,000 meaningful audience experiences.
Through working with volunteers, arts partners, and other community representatives, they break down barriers to the arts and forge meaningful partnerships that help shape a resilient and inclusive cultural sector.
CAE create opportunities for people to engage with creativity wherever they live, so they can experience its benefits, whether they’re just getting started or looking to deepen their involvement.
They provide a range of activities that help people discover and explore arts and culture, build skills and confidence, and improve their wellbeing. This approach acts as a stepping stone, opening up new opportunities for people to explore their own creativity and connect with the wider cultural community.
They are currently based at Dragon Hall.
