Contract: 0.6 FTE fixed term 12 months (with a view to making permanent)

Salary: £18,525 per annum pro rata

We’re looking for an Operations & Commercial Assistant to provide high level administrative and organisational support to the Operations & Commercial Team as it grows and develops its commercial strategy of venue hire and events opportunities at the historic 15th century venue in Norwich, Dragon Hall. This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the arts and heritage, events, or venue management sectors.

The Operations & Commercial Assistant will work closely with the Head of Operations & Commercial and Operations & Commercial Officer to provide high level administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the organisation’s facilities, core operations such as human resources and venue management, and a strong emphasis on commercial and programmatic event delivery. We’re looking for applicants with a can-do approach; excellent communication, writing and IT skills; and at least one year’s experience of administrative support, preferably in the hospitality, arts, heritage, or wider cultural sectors.
