Thinking of entering the Young Norfolk Writing Prize 2027 but not sure where to start? Join us for a friendly introductory session to meet the organisers, hear readings from past winners, pick up editing tips, and kickstart your submission alongside other young writers.

Led by the National Centre for Writing, the Young Norfolk Writing Prize is designed for 10–18-year-olds living or studying in Norfolk. The Prize highlights six of the region’s most exciting young voices, rewarding winners with a range of prizes, including vouchers, books, performance opportunities, and structured writing development support for the winners in the upper age limit category.

The Young Norfolk Writing Prize 2027 will open for entries on Monday 15 February.

If you’d prefer to join us in person, we will also be hosting a session at National Centre for Writing, Dragon Hall at 10am. Find out more here.
