Bea Fitzgerald

Bea Fitzgerald is an award-winning, Sunday Times bestselling author and content creator, writing romantic YA fantasy and dark, messy adult fiction. Her debut novel, Girl, Goddess, Queen was an instant Sunday Times bestseller and the bestselling YA hardback debut of 2023. It won Romance Novel of the Year 2024 at the RNAs and has been shortlisted for numerous other awards including the YA Book Prize, Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and Books Are My Bag Reader’s Award.

NCW Academy Bursary Programme

There is one bursary space available for this workshop.

You are eligible to apply for an NCW bursary if:

  • You are a full-time student or pensioner
  • You are in receipt of Jobseekers’ Allowance, Disability Benefits, Income Support, Universal Credit or Working Tax Credits
  • You have an income of less than £18,000 per year
  • If none of these apply but you feel you are still eligible, you may be asked to submit a signed declaration outlining your circumstances.
